Resident return visas
This visa is a travel facility visa for current or former Australian permanent residents or former Australian citizens who wish to travel into or out of Australia as a resident. You will need a RRV if your Permanent Resident Visa has expired. Leaving Australia without a RRV may impact on your Citizenship application.
There are residential requirements to be met to be eligible for this visa and the person can be inside or outside Australia at the time of application and grant.
